I was brought to this cze char place a few years ago by Glen. Then they were known as 82 Seafood. This cze char is famous for their crab bee hoon (I posted a picture on 6th Dec 2012), shark’s mouth (not available that night but I want to go back and do a post on it) and deep-fried pork trotters. Their steamed dishes like fish and mussels (garlicky HK style) are also very popular.

They serve Sri Lankan Crabs and that accounted for the gigantic claws and meaty firm sweet flesh. There are a variety of cooking method for the crustaceans which includes black pepper, chilli, kam heong, and steamed to name a few.
To me, eating here is like having restaurant food at kopitiam prices. Food is so much better than, can I say? I do not wish to be rude or mean but they are really better than eating at Jumbo Seafood Restaurant for price and taste comparison’s sake. This is just my opinion (I’m not a food critic).
I have been to 83 Seafood several times and they have never failed me. The price is fair, service is fast and food excellent!
P.S. The lady selling beer and stout was also very nice. We were still eating when she got off her shift. She came over, refilled our beer and said she’s off work and wished us good night. Awwwwwwwww! So sweet
