Tom Donnelly’s Thai Tomyum In 60 Seconds

A steaming hot bowl of Thai Tomyum in 60 seconds??? Why not if you watch it on video, hahaha… Tom Donnelly has managed a very tasty recipe easy enough for any new cook to follow.

Tom said, “The Thai tastes take some getting used to here in England, but once you do, you’re hooked! Although there are many ingredients (and some difficult to obtain in the UK) the video has a couple of short-cuts that will have you looking like a pro when you cook for guests.”

Tom Donelly’s Thai Tomyum Recipe
6 medium raw shrimp, shells removed
1 chicken breast cubed (optional)
1 stalk crushed lemon grass
2 kaffir lime leaves
1 lime
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp grated ginger
1 sliced red chilli
1 tomato, cubed
1/2 tin coconut milk
1 Tbsp fish sauce
1 Tbsp light soy sauce
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
Fresh coriander (cilantro), roughly chopped
