These Are Just Some Of My Favourite Things!

Every now and then which is quite frequent actually, I love to indulge in what the health freaks call junk food or what the food snobs refer to as pedestrian food!

They may be rubbish but I swear they are delicious garbage! I know my mom, my doctors and dentist would frown. Fats, sugar and refined starch not to mention the artificial food flavourings and colours! But’s let’s take a look at my stash which can be consumed at any time of the day. And of course, I have had them all and some as recent as this morning.

Mother's Day Breakfast

I had no Mother’s Day breakfast but Valerie cooked these for supper after Mother’s Day Dinner Celebration!
Fluffy pancakes, soft-centred boiled eggs and streaky bacon drowned with Canadian maple syrup. Slurp!

Crispy fried, sweet and savoury plate of fats, carbo and sugar.

Penang White Curry Instant Noodle

Instant Noodles!
It has to have that umami kick from msg and spicy paste to make it thirstier tastier.

I like those with soup base that are extra hot and the noodles QQ (bouncy).
And yes, I sip the soup to the last drop.

Doughnut

Sugar Doughnuts.
Not the powdered sugar! It has to be white (bleached) sugar crystals and deep-fried preferred to oven baked.

Sliders

Wagyu Beef Sliders.
I can eat a whole pound and more but I like mini sliders on soft buns to mask my gluttony, hahaha…
And oh, they go very well with a bottle of chilled Chardonnay!

Ice Cream and Chocolate Wafer

Full fat Ice Cream with Macadamia nuts and Chocolate Wafer.
Okay you got me there! I usually have 2-4 fingers and a pint of erhm, “frozen milk”?
I love sorbet, too but I have yet to appreciate gelato! 😀

Coffee

Last but not least, Coffee!
Someone would be glad to know that I don’t drink 16 cups a day anymore.
Eversince I took up photography, I have no time to drink and smoke as much.
Now where’s that bag of Blue Mountain???

Every time I see and then succumb to eating these, I would pray silently, “Get in me but don’t make me fat!” Hard luck, hahahas…

    and don’t forget the cake… you need to meet my baker, he is very good at taking all
    of the calories out of my favorite desserts.
