It’s A Marvellous Goal!

I know nothing about football although Ryan said it is fun and we should all play it sometime. Ya right! Like I want to be hurt. That’s what I witnessed during a match on 15th April 2014 – the pain and joy!

Pahang FA is the reigning champion of Malaysia Super League on the back of a 5-game winning streak! The score stood at 1-1 during the first half of the game. Generally throughout the whole game, Singapore Lions XII FC only had about 48% of ball possession.

Singapore striker Amri’s injury cued in 26-year-old substitute Sufian Anuar’s entry. The latter quickly engaged a different approach upfront the minute he came on. Sufian was in the right *place space at the right time on 3 occasions to open his league account and ultimately led the Lions XII to a 4-1 victory!

* Sufian is already in the right place, Singapore Lions XII FC but him being in the right space of the field was crucial that night.

Tiger beer would have been served free flow had the staff in charged took the initiative to check the barrels. He saw 3 beer barrels at the stand and thought they were filled but unfortunately 2 were empty, lol… Halal food was catered to the fans in the VIP lounge. The cuisine was fill-your-tummy type of food, nothing special just a decent fare and taste but tonight’s highlight was not about the food. Tonight is about giving moral support to our national football team, Singapore Lions XII FC. And what a brilliant game they played! It’s a marvellous goal!!!

Have a blessed Good Friday.

I will be away for the weekend 🙂

P.S. Oh well, who knows but I may be gung-ho enough to try football if Ryan is serious about us playing. As his mother-in-law, I’m sure I can tackle him! Hehehe…
