Where Love Resides… Harmony And Happiness Will Follow

Where love resides, harmony and happiness will follow. This was what I witnessed when I was invited to Adrian’s housewarming party yesterday.

Potato salad with roasted whole garlic, dressed with homemade curried mayonnaise and topped with crispy deep-fried curry leaves. The curry mix was chef Daniel's own blend.

Bolognaise or Bolognese? Whatever it is called, this is delicious! This pot was made with chicken instead of beef.

I had the spaghetti with sambal belachan. It was so good Adrian gave me a bottle to bring home.

I liked my lamb pan-seared so chef Daniel did it for me :)

Roasted then pan-seared. The lamb was so tender and succulent, I just had to eat them with my hands. They were so tasty on their own, no mint was required although the jelly was provided.

This post is dedicated to Adrian and his family to celebrate the move into their home. May it become too small for the many happy memories that continues to be created; where friends belong and happiness never ends.

Happy housewarming 🙂

P.S. We had a chocolate cake from Awfully Chocolate.

Love this, Sam. As if I were there celebrating with you and your friends. Great quote to begin with too. Have a great week.

    • Sam Han says:

Thanks Janet! How have you been?

CNY is around the corner and I’ve been busy. Most of my friends are traveling so I would be “lonely” lol…

      • Rörschåch says:

You always appear to enjoy yourself wherever you are, Sam. Maybe there’s a big party for you to attend? Will there be lots of fireworks?

All is good, but very busy. My teaching job takes a lot of my time. A LOT OF MY TIME. Not complaining. I am glad I have a job I like and enjoy doing.

Hmm, wonder if I should throw a CNY party….

        • Sam Han says:

Hmmm you got me there – i don’t know if there’ll be fireworks for CNY.

It is great to hear you are super busy with something you like doing but do take care of your health.

Yes! Absolutely!!! You should throw a big party to celebrate with friends! It’s this 31st. Have Chinese take-outs and make a mess eating “Lo Hei” with chopsticks. 😀

You eat dragon meat? I’m think I’m going to faint.
