I was supposed to go for the National Day Flypast and Fireworks with Paul, today being the last rehearsal, but plans got changed when Dad and Bro came to Van’s first exhibition. This is the beginning of her career. She has a long way to go and I will be there for her.

Happy celebrating 🙂

Congratulations to Van! The picture of you and Nic is very nice. Such a wonderful day.

    • Sam Han says:

Thanks Laura, was a great day to catch up with my dad. He was saying he hasn’t been to this part of town for about 4 years and Sg is such a tiny island, lol…

  2. That looks like a great day. Congratulations to your brother. Nice pictures of you all. and you really look like you are enjoying your gourmet pulled pork burger! Hope you gorged equally on the champagne. 🙂

    • Sam Han says:

Thanks Arran, it’s so nice to hear from you. Yes, I did finished the burger and had quite plenty to drink. Hope your new website is coming along fine (nothing much from you is showing in my “wordpress reader” or am I missing lots of posts?). If ever I go to Dublin, you must be my guide. You have so much history and nice art there. Envy! 😀

      • Hi Sam, delighted to hear you had plenty of Dom P champagne to wash down that delicious food. (very impressed by how swish you are!)

At my end: you’re absolutely right, I haven’t been publishing much on the new site or running too many tours yet on the new guiding business, I dd a few for charity and one for a radio programme, but as a commercial venture I’ve been taking it slow to be honst. The reason is that I got the chance, last-minute, to do a post-grad diploma- in the same area. This will really help with the business in the medium and long-term, no doubt, I’d have been a fool not to do it. but it’s pretty demanding short term.
So, you know, – pretty frustrating- it’s almost impossible to make time to push out on the business yet, on top of teaching and all the other stuff (applying for couple of lecturing jobs here as well) Almost never have time to blog any more, which i also miss.
Anyway, bear with me, I’ll be back, it will all come in good time!

If you ever do come all the way to Dublin, I would be honoured to be your guide. Nothing would give me greater pleasure.
Hope you make it over some time.

Hope all is well with you and yours.

my very warmest regards and respects
        -Arran.

      • Sam Han says:

Arran, I wish you all the best in all that you do. It must be really exciting and self gratifying at the same time (even though it can be frustrating at times). I’ll be watching out for your new postings. Good luck in all your endeavours and don’t forget to have fun 😀
