The food was served in the correct order; braised fins or soup should be served first (personally, I like to have my soup drunk on empty stomach and then consume my meal half an hour later as I believe through TCM teachings that nutrients are better absorbed that way) and was done so. Next came the roasts/appetizers and I had some steamed rice with it. Before we finished the roast meats, the claypot dish of mixed vegetables came with flavoursome gravy broth to complement my rice. scooped some of this dish and allowed my rice to soak in the gravy for a while.
