My Date With Tony Stark!

It’s been a while since I watched a movie and since my friend has a Safra card, we get quite a huge discount for movie tickets so tonight, he arranged for me a date with Tony Stark, an American billionaire playboy, industrialist and ingenious engineer! Not bad huh? No doubt Tony is a fictional character but which lady doesn’t dream of a superhero? With Robert Downing Jr. portraying the businessman superhero in this live action film, Iron Man (2008) became a critical and box office success. Downey received much acclaim for his performance and Iron Man was ranked 12th on IGN’s Top 100 Comic Book Heroes in 2011.

Since the movie starts at 10pm, we have about 40 minutes to kill – too little time for a formal meal as most restaurants have their last order at 9.30pm, we managed to find a dowdy stall in a kopitiam for some Indian fast food of plain naan and chicken tikka. The naan was freshly made on the spot and the chicken tikka was a good value of S$5 for 4 pieces. We should have order the dhal makhani but the egg curry did not disappoint. The meal was a pleasant portion. Oops, running late!!! Let’s go… Iron Man is waiting for me 😉

I will definitely come by again for the garlic naan, butter chicken and dhal makhani.

Not oily at all with a wonderful fresh crisp and nice earthy aroma of wheat.

Gotta lean forward just in case the curry drips - the stains are hard to wash out.

The food was awesome!
How’s my date? He’s perfect for saying Pepper is already perfect… What a dream!

Happy dating 🙂

Below is a video made of the place I had the naan. That videographer seemed very excited about his food.
Enjoy 😀

What a fun date! The food looks fantastic. I would love to try the chicken Tikka. It’s such a pretty color.

  2. It’s funny. American girls usually go for Chris Hemsworth as Thor because of somatic considerations. Asian chicks seem to like Downey Jr for well … the suit … (possibly the billions too). 😛

    Glad you had fun.
