Phantom Of The Waffle

Phantom Of The Waffle Still in the quest of finding and experimenting new waffle flavours.

IMG_9733©BondingTool We bought a new waffle and pancake mix from Shop n Save supermarket, Red Man brand – a product of Singapore and Milo 3-in-1.

Keef Milo Waffles©BondingToolThe waffle premix manufacturer gave us a few choices but we chose to make the one with egg and milk. The trick for this recipe is to put the medium sized egg in the measuring cup first then top up with milk until the 110ml mark. We also added on our own 1 sachet of 30g 3-in-1 Milo, 1 tablespoon of melted butter and a pinch of salt. Dried fruits are optional but we had these juicy cranberries that complemented the chocolaty waffle.

Recipe (makes 2):
100g Waffle Mix.
1 Egg (medium size).
Milk (Put egg into a measuring cup first then top up to 110ml).
1x30g packet Milo 3-in-1.
pinch of Salt.
1 tablespoon melted Butter.
Dried Cranberries.

Method:
Pre-heat waffle iron.
Mix everything together with a whisk.
Pour in half the batter and add some dried cranberries.

Served with jam, dried fruits and ice cream this time round – a very sweet treat for our birthday boy indeed…

Happy Birthday, Keef!

  1. Look delicious. I definitely need to invest in a waffle iron soon. It would make such a delicious breakfast!

Hello Sam, I like your blog very much. I’m just wondering if you had any problem using the waffle maker after buying because the Voltage/Hz is different between Korea and Singapore. Thanks and have a great day.
