Iron Man Keef

044-IMG_9439©BondingTool Unhappy with our first lopsided waffle portions the last time, Keef decided to show the iron who the master is.

031-IMG_9422©BondingTool For two days in a row, he made waffles and they were perfect… well, according to him that is.

Keef Waffle©BondingTool The above was ironed yesterday. I asked him why the waffle looked chao ta (burnt in Hokkien dialect) and he said he liked his waffles to be extra crispy. This time round, he added melted butter, sugar and a little salt to the batter using spelt flour, milk and egg.

Keef Waffle Steak©BondingTool Just now, he WhatsApp me his lunch. Tada… Nicely charred Waffle wedge with Ribeye Steak, Spicy Pork Sausage, Pickled Cucumber, Creamy Spinach Dip served drizzled with Thai Chilli Sauce, Honey Mustard and some Ketcup. He also had a bowl of Cream of Wild Mushrooms Soup to wash it all down. He’s so making me steak and waffles on my next visit!

Waffles are great for breakfast, brunch, dessert and now dinner!
Kudos Keef, you’re my Iron Man 🙂
